What's wrong? Why is it doing this? I'm not entirely well-versed in emulators/roms so please excuse me if there is some blatant, rookie mistake I am making. Setup Controller You have to go to the option on the top and navigate to the Input options. I went back to Nestopia and tried mapping all the controls to my keyboard and even that didn't work. I did the same thing with the emulator and tried out FCEUX instead and still nothing.

I ran joy.cpl on my computer and made sure the controller was set as preferred and was properly calibrated, I downloaded Emulator Enhancer but couldn't find anything on how to install it and didn't know what to do with the. I looked all over the Internet for a solution and tried many different things.

the format, I think it was working correctly - at least I was able to record some gameplay (which is ultimately what I want to use it for) and the controller worked fine. I tested the keyboard too, just in case, and nothing. 0 Comments I downloaded it but have yet to get into it because Im not excellent with command line run programs. When I ran the rom, however, the controller wasn't working. I checked Machine > Input and it had Pad 1 selected, which is what I mapped under.

From there, I set all of my controls and pressed okay. navigate to Settings -> Driver -> Menu Driver and change to 'xmb'. This setup is exactly the same for any game controller so maybe the forum moderators arent being too helpful. RetroArch is one of the best places for NES emulation, along with the Nestopia core, you can be up and running in no time whatsoever. Each button you press should change it to something like '(joy 0) 1'. Plug in the controller, start Nestopia, go to Options->Input, press the Set All button, then go through the button sequence.

I realized my computer wasn't finished installing the drivers for it and once it was done, it showed up in the joystick column. 'Nestopia 1.09 on Windows XP works fine here. Ours usb encoders will show up as a Xin-Mo GamePad. When I went to map the controls through Options > Input, the controller wasn't showing up in the "Joysticks" column. Go into Control Panel / Hardware and Sound / Devices and Printers You will see your gamepad in there. Frontend Profile Name enter HyperSpin without the quotes. I first plugged my Xbox One controller into the USB port on my computer. Hit the magnifying glass under the JoyToKey Path and navigate to your JoyToKey.

I just downloaded Nestopia today and have been trying to get the controls to work.
